FEE SCHEDULE
My fees for mediations and arbitrations range between $150.00 and $250.00 per hour shared equally between the parties. There is a two hour minimum for actual hearing time. The amount of the fee is based on various factors including the complexity of the case, the number of parties involved, the amount in controversy or the type of relief sought, and the desired location for the hearing. I have facilities in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties to conduct these hearings.
Moreover, should I be selected by the parties as a per pay mediator through the Los Angeles Superior Court ADR panel, my fee is $150.00 per hour for the first three hours and $250.00 thereafter.
For hearings outside Orange County, California, I charge automobile mileage at 0.45 per mile subject to adjustment based on fluctuating gasoline prices.
My hourly rate is $250.00. I will consider a contingency fee arrangement on a case by case basis.
The first appointment with me typically lasts about an hour and costs approximately $250.00. This first consultation allows me to get a thorough understanding of your case while it gives you, the prospective client, an opportunity to explain your situation and ask questions of me. Your payment for the initial consultation fee is due at the beginning of the consultation.
If you choose to have me represent you, a retainer (an advance deposit into a trust account, against which fees and costs are billed at the end of each month) will be established. The retainer will reflect my best estimate of the initial work required in the case and will be subject to replenishment if the trust account balance falls below a specified level. A detailed retainer agreement will be prepared and signed by you and me. A copy will be provided to you when you retain me as your attorney.
